Last week Cora had her two year check-up! For Christmas we finally got Cole and Cora growth charts! So they don't have to measure themselves on Caden's anymore.. it is a big deal! Cora measured in at 36 1/2" while squirming a lot at the Dr's.. but we measured her at almost 37 1/2"... not sure which is correct so we'll call it 37" even. That almost brings her back on the charts!! at just above the 97th percentile. Cora's big belly is a different story... she gained 5 pounds in the past 6 months, and she now weighs TWO pounds more than our skinny-minny Cole! While a great eater she also constantly moves, so we're not sure where it comes from. Otherwise she is a healthy girl.
This princess isn't fitting into Cinderella's shoes.. she's got wide wide wide feet!
Potty training has begun! We've been on and off for the past few weeks, but this week she's taken to it much more.. we'll be diaper free in no time!
She loves to dress up! When she was born, with two older brothers we figured we'd have a tomboy on our hands.. in fact it is the exact opposite! She loves anything pink, purple or glittery! She won't wear her baby blue socks I bought her... I guess they aren't girly enough for her.
She runs the house! Even the boys know who's boss.. check out their dress-up outfits!!
Cora is also learning how to use a big girl bed! Starting off with the side off her crib as a toddler bed, so far she's only fell out once! I am working on her quilt now.. so hopefully in the summer we'll redo her room to look a bit more girly!
What else does Cora do?!
She is a great eater, as I've already mentioned.. and usually asks for more of whatever we have for dinner.. she makes Rob and I feel like gourmet chefs because she loves everything we make!
Cora's favorite book right now is "No David" She repeats every line.. it is adorable really, I need to get it on video! She also loves one of the colors books we have.. but every color is yellow, which is interesting since she only loves pink and purple. Every day she asks for yellow socks. We lift her up to her sock drawer so she can pick them out.. she never picks the yellow ones!
Cora loves to dance! She must carry a tune in her head because she often bops when there is no music on at all.
She LOVES her babies!! she gives them hugs and kisses, and carries more than one around at a time. It makes me happy though that her very favorite is her American Girl Bitty Baby we got her for her 1st birthday.
She is strong.. very strong!
She doesn't like strange men! This is probably a good thing!
She loves to brush her teeth! take vitamins and wash her hands. A personal hygiene fanatic!
She's a fan of animals.. at least in books!
Our most recent favorite song is "where is thumb-kin" I brought that one out one day when she did not want to stay on the potty... that song kept her on there for 20 minutes! Now she always asks me where is thumby?!
She thinks her brothers are the funniest people in the world, and also wants to do everything they do.
Her brothers love her to pieces!
And that is Cora in a nut-shell! We are so lucky to have her in our family! She really does make the day brighter, her smile is contagious and there is always a sparkle in her eye!

Your photography seems to have changed lately- I can't put my finger on it= whether it is the editing or the angles. Either way, I really like it!!
We can't imagine a King Edward Dr life without Cora! She is such a little cutie! Always smiles for everyone!
Ha! Thanks Kelly! Probably the ediitng! I've been downloading Lightroom Presets like it is my job, so I've been trying out new ones every post.. I'm slowly finding my favorites!!
