Rogers's Road Trip: Arriving in Long Island

We arrived in Quogue to a house to ourselves.. kind of lonely if you ask me!  So we entertained ourselves 'til the rest of the family arrived.  What better place to start than the beach?  Off we went!

The kids spend loads of time jumping the waves.

Cole would get knocked down and head for dry land just about every time.

After the beach.. and naps, we headed for the playground... Cora loved hanging her arm out the side and feeling the flowers along the way!

The kids didn't spend much time at the playground once they found that the Jr. Sports Kids (basically Camp Quogue) had left a soccer ball out, and they had big soccer goals!.. So off they went, although it looked to me like Cora might enjoy football a bit more than soccer!

And lastly everywhere you look beautiful blue hydrangeas are in abundance.. although I must admit for the first year ever, every single one of our hydrangeas have gorgeous blossoms on them!  hooray!

First day in Quogue was a success... next up: More Quogue, more beach... are you getting tired of this yet?
