Air Show

Which way to the airshow?!  That way!  Cora loves to stick her hands out the window, the cutest is when she waves!  We weren't thinking and took the highway rather than back roads to the Portsmouth Air Show a couple of weeks ago (yes I am very behind!)  We sat in traffic for quite some time.. and even had Cole pee in a cup standing in the back seat rather than try and stop on the side of the road!

But we finally made it! and successfully found Grammy and Grampy in the crowd.. but not before investigating a few planes first!

I found it interesting that they numbered the propellers!

And this next one I thought was a very strange shape...

Aww!  We 'heart' the air show too! (Can someone tell me how to make the heart symbol I see it everywhere but have no idea!?!)

We forgot Cora's 4th of July dress on the 4th of July.. so it made its debut at the airshow just in case it doesn't fit next year!

This plane is a little easier for Caden to check out up close and personal

Cole wasn't a fan of the noise.. but he felt better with ear plugs.  Cora also disliked it but her ear holes were too small for the ear plugs! After we ate lunch it didn't seem to bother her as much... food does wonderful things!

Cora is a little bossy these days!  Here she is leading Grammy.

And it is Blue Angel time!

Okay... we're a sucker for souvenirs!  But they had a 4 pack of "blue angel" planes, so how could we resist?  one for everyone and a spare!

Flying upside down fascinates me! Watching it at least!  Never done it obviously.

Two up, two down.. reminds me of a Dr. Seuss book!

Seriously.. how do they practice this!

Cora is getting sleepy... side note.. we lost her doll at one point, she dropped it apparently when she was freaking out about the noise, but a good Samaritan turned it in at the gate!  Thank  you!

We put sleeping beauty like this in the trailer at the end of the show.. but she's a bit big for this position so it didn't last very long!  Great show!  Can't wait til they come again!
