A Happy Mom!

It was Mother's Day today! A windy, brisk day.. but a beautiful Mother's Day! Today we went to the nursery and bought a couple of crab apple trees and a bunch of perennials for a back bed that has become overgrown with weeds.. it should be beautiful this year assuming they all make it.

Being a Mom is pretty much the best thing on Earth, each of the kids is different, and their own special person.. and I wouldn't change a thing.. okay maybe the temper tantrums, but other than that! not a thing.. I love them to pieces. And I am very glad to have my Mom to have learned things from.. and my Gram who helped to make her the person she is. They are both great Mom's. Happy Mom's Day to all the Mom's out there!


We travelled to Danvers to wish Babci and Grammy a Happy Mother's Day too! We missed getting a picture of all of us, because as usual our goal departure time came and went. But we'll be sure to get it the next time we're all together, and hopefully it will be outside when it is much warmer than it was today!

Cora longingly watches her brothers playing outside. It was a bit too windy and cold for her to be outside, since we didn't prepare properly by bringing warmer outside clothes.
