On Sunday we waited anxiously for the sun to clear. Once it did, and all the kids were awake we went down to the local orchard with Grammy and Grampy to pick some apples and pick out pumpkins! Since Caden and Rob weren't at the picking portion of our party, the rest of us waited for them before picking.Really there's not much better than an apple picked fresh off the tree. MMMmm! So crisp, juicy and tart. Yummy! Caden was a picking fool.. he had our bags filled within no time flat! The trees were FULL of big red apples. Cole had a more difficult time with the whole twist and pull concept, but he didn't mind eating them after a little bit of help!

So fun! We went apple picking (yes, again) on Sunday as well. We thought would enjoy the hayride at Elwood but he was a little disappointed it didn't actually have a destination, just a circle around the farm! Oh well.
