I guess we'll never know! This was our second year doing the Elwood Farm corn maze in the dark... and the second year we didn't make it out! The correct way at least. Every year they expand the maze, this year it was 8 acres! We had to take an emergency exit, the kids admitted they were getting tired so we threw in the towel.
Cora started the adventure in the backpack carrier only because when she saw it she got really excited and wouldn't budge until we put her in! Daddy looks so happy to be carrying her.
We all have headlamps so we can operate hands free :)
Once Cora saw how much fun Caden and Cole were having running through the maze she wanted out of her perch... she is a trailblazer! There were times when Rob had to run ahead to chase her so we didn't lose her! I don't think the owners would have been happy when they had to mow down their money maker so we could find our crazy girl! But I'll be honest I think the reason we got through the first section of maze was because of her! As a side note she also has the uncanny ability when we are doing a puzzle to pick the exact piece you need. She might have a gift!
Two peas in a pod.. the two of the troops lead the way.
But we just could not find the right way, but it is comforting to know we got MUCH farther than last year when after about an hour we somehow made it back to the very beginning!.. Daddy shows everyone how sad we were!

Sounds like a fun place to go--8 acres what if you do get lost--you could be there a long time.
Poor Rob carrying Cora on his back, that is a lot of weight!!!
