Cora's latest photo shoot...

Was not easy! As usual we went to JC Penny for the pictures.  It was time for 18 month pictures which turned into 19 month pictures.  Cora didn't want anything to do with the event.  I lured her into the room with a prop teddy bear, which she grabbed and ran back out of the room!  Next we put a stool down and told her to help the bear sit on the seat.  She did a bit of playing with the bear and the stool then spotted a display of more teddy bears in fun red hats and scarfs out in the store... out she went and brought back a  bear to sit on the stool.. but that was not enough!  Nope back out to the store to get another. Oh boy!

We tried a new chair to see if she'd try and sit in the chair with the bear.. nope.. not happening.

Next we tried the floor.. Daddy had the great idea to tell her to eat her toes..  

She looks so innocent here.. don't let her fool you, she was a whirlwind of activity and would not stop for a picture for a second!   

We had several shoe changes.. here you can see her handing the photographer her shoe. 

Okay.. scene change!  maybe she'd like the couch better?  The photographer put all her bears on it for her and left a nice comfy spot for Cora.. it looked like it might work.. but first Cora had to rearrange the bears 3 times.

Finally we gave up and decided to end all of our misery.. and then she decided to sit on the couch!  So she grabbed her camera and got a couple...

 

... in the end she REALLY wanted the rocking chair!  So she carried it over herself.. the photographer just stood there with her jaw on her chest amazed that she could even lift it.. That's our Cora!  We got a few acceptable shots and a slew of not so good ones, many that I didn't bother to share here.  And we thought Cora was going to be our shining star at portraits, little did we know she is taking after her brothers.. it is a different style of uncooperative, but uncooperative just the same.  Christmas portraits of the three of them together should be very interesting!
