15 Months

Cora turned 15 months a week and a half ago, but she didn't have her well-visit until today.  Still above the curve in her height and weight, but it is inching ever so slowly back towards the chart.  She is only 1/4 to 1/2" taller than the boys at this age, but a whopping 5 pounds heavier!  Gotta love that belly of hers.

A little about Cora...

She's the  happiest girl on earth!  Save a few tantrums she's good natured 99.9% of the time, and easily redirected when she isn't.

She is a great eater, eating everything we eat for meals.. which is more than we can say about her big brothers.

She's a great sleeper, and rarely puts up a fight at bedtime or nap time.. just lays her head down, pops her thumb in her mouth and closes her eyes.

Still not a big talker, she says "mama" and "bah" for pretty much anything that should start with a 'b'... ball, baby, belly, etc.

She points to all her body parts, the best is when we ask where her mouth is, she smiles and sticks out her tongue (she also does this if we ever ask her what is in her mouth because we think she put something in it.. like a rock!)

She can eat with a fork and a spoon.. although the spoon is a bit messy because she turns it over on the way in.

She loves Ivy, our cat and gets ridiculously excited every time she comes into the room.  She rests her head on her (which is her way of hugging) and chases her around trying to give her hugs.

She takes after Cole in that she can climb fearlessly to the top of anything, she can walk backwards as well as forwards and likes to jump off the couch.

She can shake her booty (a.k.a. dance!)

Did I mention she's always happy?!

She has a thing for shoes, hats and necklaces...

When she's hungry she brings you her bib, and when she is thirsty she stands by the fridge.

She is a magnet for dirt, and gets dirty amazingly fast, usually when she is wearing an outfit for the first time, or when it is light in color.

She has a temper and an independent streak, but also a snuggly huggable side.

She wants to be big so she can play with her brothers, although she can push them around just as well as someone their age.

She's growing up way too fast!  With 2 older brothers to teach her the ways of life she knows far more than she should at this age!  She copies everything they do, and mimics every sound they make.  She gets in the middle of everything they do, but somehow they don't actually mind much!

She's happy!  Seriously I can't stress it enough!  It just amazes us how carefree she is, it is fantastic!
